ClearPath ("we," "us," "our") operates getclearpath.xyz, a document preparation service for US immigration paperwork. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us:

• Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Application information: details you enter into our guided wizard, such as names, dates, addresses, and immigration history, used solely to generate your personalized documents.
• Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We never store your full card number.
• Communications: messages you send us through our contact form, email, or chatbot.

We automatically collect limited technical information: browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location (city level), used to improve the site.

3. How we use your information

• To generate your personalized immigration documents and guides
• To process payments and deliver your purchases
• To respond to your questions and provide support
• To send you the free checklist and follow-up emails you request
• To improve our products and fix problems

4. What we never do

• We never sell your personal information to anyone.
• We never share your immigration details with third parties except the service providers below.
• We never report any information to USCIS, ICE, or any government agency. We are not affiliated with any government body.

5. Service providers we use

• Stripe — payment processing
• Clerk — account authentication
• Netlify — website hosting
• Anthropic — AI processing for document generation and chat (your inputs are processed to generate your documents and are subject to Anthropic's privacy policy)
• Resend — email delivery

Each provider receives only the information necessary to perform its function.

6. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@getclearpath.xyz. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor. Account passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, and EU residents under the GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, email support@getclearpath.xyz.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks.

10. Children

ClearPath is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised date. Material changes will be announced by email to account holders.
